Emo to be made illegal in Russia?

The whole idea of them doing this is to try and cut down teen depression, self harm and suicide. Now this is just me, but surely if you're in that state of mind then the last thing you need is someone taking away your sense of identity and treating you like criminals. I mean, emo being the cause of depression is just a very small minority - what about the rest of the kids who are depressed because of school, family and all that? Couldn't they put the time, money and effort into setting up help for these kids and not trying to stamp out one very weak source of it?

It's a fashion, it wont kill you, this whole self harm & suicide crap has gone too far. I'm sure there are chavs that kill themselves, but not all chavs do right?
Tbh, it's things like this and the Daily Mail articles that lead to things like Sophie Lancastre being killed by a group of lads for being a goth.

they dont want the style to pass on espically because people try to make rules of 'how to be emo' and since some kids "try" so hard to be emo.

I think when a chavs kill themselves it's linked to accidental death, they're not that smart by stereotype definition and what exactly is emo music? I think the rule is focusing on self-harm, although the clothing style is a bit depressing to look at.

It's a lame fashion at best, I don't really see what's so good about it. "Emo" hair is just the hair most people have when their hair is medium sized. You either have it sticking up, or combed to one side (unless you really want to walk around with hair in your eyes ). Also, I think the definition the Russian's used is focusing on Goths
