What are you talking about! Big Brother has characters like Jade Goody, Nadia, Nikki Grahame and Kathreya!! What does the Olympics have? Like....a few billion viewers? Pffft thats nothing.

Well tabloid newspapers report on that sort of thing (reality TV etc) due to the fact that the key demographic is entertained by such programmes. They try and appeal to their demographics to sell more copies and get more dosh.

I'm sure Big Brother is more appealing to teenagers than the Olympics as proven by the Big Brother forum.

Like I said, if enough people are interested then sure go for it but still, with 1 day to go until the official opening there's been about 3 threads on it.

What's there to talk about? You'll get annoying threads no-one will care about like "I wonder if snot face will win the this event." When it starts there should be loads of threads on it, because there's something to talk about :/

It has started and the opening ceremony is tomorrow and there has been plenty of stuff in the media about the Olympics that are thread-worthy.

I don't get why it's started but the opening ceremony hasn't been done yet :/ That's like opening a swimming pool to the public but having a few people go swimming the day before!! I'm sure if something interesting happens during the olympics, it'll be reported
