    Default My first layout- Full Metal Alchemist fansite.

    Well, I used to do alot of crappy layouts.. then I decided to give it up.

    This is the one I did tonight.

    I need ways to improve it, as I'm considering making another anime based website.

    You used to do a lot of crappy layouts? I urge you to have a brainstorm. That style of layout would probably have been excepted 5 years ago but todays market has moved on, way past gradients. The whole "web 2.0" thing consisted of a lot of gradients with some big *** gloss. Try using some solid colours, tbh, I'd much prefer the layout if it was just bogstandard CSS.

    Yes, but I don't have Photoshop or anything so my design is limited for the time being.

    Edit: @above, my old layouts were even worse, trust me.
