Great Britain did quite well, but ended up 6th.
Drugs perhaps? I must admit it would be the funniest thing ever if he was on performance enhancing drugs but I think it's unlikely as he'll almost certainly be tested.

I saw his first race last night and fell to sleep just before his second, he didn't look too pleased when he broke the record since he had trouble with his goggles the commentators were saying. Was he tired after the relay?

I used to do a lot of swimming for clubs too, reasonable success but it took too much dedication in my life so it had to go. In freestyle your not meant to spend too long under water unlike on backstroke, butterfly and breast stroke, but he does so strong kicks he can afford to stay under water in freestyle.

Yeah, his goggles leaked on his first race. He still won gold and beat the world record, but I think he was disappointed because he knew he could go faster. He was cheering and yelling with his team mates after they won the relay though. He didn't seem tired at all.

He obviously didn't go all out because he would be tired by now lol. And these speedos are obviously helping to break the world records.

Ryan Lochte already came close to getting a gold even while swimming with a stomach virus. I think Lochte will definitely be up there with Phelps.

For China's 1 billion people they have the best athletes, but USA is killing them though, I hope they don't catch up.

Yes, they are. In the heats, he went really slowly for the first 50m then did a massive deep turn and came up second.

Lochte beat Phelps in the American trials. I think he beat him anyway might have been really close.

China are in the lead and have you realised how much of China is in poverty?
