IceCast vs Shoutcast

Currently out system is icecast:

www.voguefm.co.uk

All these DJ panels seem to operate on Shoutcast.

Its not really an issue as we leave them blank. Just thinking is there any benefit using shoutcast over icecast?

Perosnally i always like ice cast myself. Always seems better to stream on and less problems ect.

I'm not very familiar IceCast myself but I'm just guessing that SHOUTcast is just cheaper and that more software/scripts is developed around it.

I always find though that ice cast is more reliable and you can rely on it to work alot more.
