    Default Partitioning help.. +REP

Ok, so I have a laptop with Vista on it, and I'd like to dual boot with XP on a separate partition. I'll only be using one program on this new XP partition, so space isn't an issue.

Here's a look at my computer atm:

Would there be any room to put the XP install on - also, whats the 94MB thing about? Thankss

Try Windows Virtual PC instead of partitioning to run a programme in XP. Virtual PC will emulate XP in a window on your Vista PC.

    It's also free I believe: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro.../overview.mspx

Right click that 3.52GB unallocated one and click format. Use that as your XP partition.

I doubt 3.5GB would be enough space, I'd go for atleast 10GB before you install XP on
