    I have about everything i need now, the motherboard etc etc
    But since i'm taking my old laptop back (£740) i was thinking, can this motherboard;
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125082
    Handle 2x 8800GT's

    Thanks +rep to decent help
    Yes it would, but it;s not that good of a board really. It'd do the job though. The sound card isn't really necessary as you could use the onboard sound and you probably won't really notice the difference with those speakers. Also, don't buy cheap generic RAM. Get something that's at least branded.

    Get some Crucial, G.Skill RAM or something, also get an Intel based motherboard and your good to go.

    Are you just trying to up your post count? Have you even read his list? It states '4GB RAM'.

    You will have no end of trouble with Nvidia based motherboards. The RAM... you may regret not getting decent RAM, I spent £50 on 1 pack of 2GB, then I bought another pack of 2GB, so £25 a stick for what I got.
