    Default Keyboard messed up

Im not sure if this is the right place to put this..
I spilt some tea over my keyboard on my laptop and now it's all messed up. When I press a key something else comes up.. like when I press a number button all sorts of things come up like Internet Explorer and pressing some letter keys once gets multiple letters. It took me ages trying to type out this post. :eusa_wallAnyone know what's wrong or how to fix it..? Again sorry if this is in the wrong place.

my advice is take the laptop to a techie
    or
take it apart and see if the liquid has stuck to some of the keys

You should have immediatly turned it off and left it to thouroghly (sp?) dry out for about 2 weeks near a heat source. But since you didn't, you could try replacing the keyboard, which is usually very easy... or at least I know it is on Dells.

What else can you do, you can't exactly download a worm to sip up all the tea.

Why can't you replace the keyboard? Just Google it to see if you can change it on your laptop then order one for cheap from the manufacturer.

Because replacing the keyboard would involve telling my parents and that isnt really an option. :eusa_whis
All of the keys work now anyway, except some of them have remapped themselves so when I press them something else comes up. :eusa_wall
Someone told me to remove the keyboard and remove the tea stains except I have no idea how, and knowing me I'll probably make it worse.

Normally a screw or two on the underside of the laptop and one under the cenre of the keyboard under a letter - quite easy to remove and attach again (done it several times) just look up online for the details on where your screws are and the process of removal.
