They gave away goodie bags at mine, but there was only 50, and by the time I got there--which was at like 9:15 anyway--they were all gone. :'[

loool same where i went but some one called david who was like 27 got one and he was there all day
he said him and 15 mates everyweek go round his house and battle pokemon
then they have a test to get up one type of pokemon (fire,ice,etc...)
and whoever one got to chose the next type for next week

gone by time i got to my event too.. was there bout 45mins early and they started the event early too so if u got there on time u had no chance i got my darkrai though, rest of the event wasnt very good really
