Rip into the girl - point out all the girl's bad points (but make sure you refrain from saying her boobs were too small, because you shouldn't have been looking!) and then make sure you tell your girlfriend her good points.

At the moment, she'll be wondering what this girl has that she doesn't - because, if you loved her as much as you say you do, why would you do it? Why would you risk your relationship?

Just let her know that you were just trying to make the best out of a bad situation - the bad situation being that you're away from her.
