I would say NO to changing it again.
It's completely fine as it is, Yes you can get some people that abuse their rep power and pointlessly -REP people, But then it's something 'fun' to add to the forum I suppose.

I don't care about rep no more, well I wouldn't mind a few more points, but I hate the rep update from ages ago, I use to have loads points!
