I don't download anime anymore, I watch all my stuff on veoh. I was going to download the torrent off dattebayo, but I didn't feel like waiting 1 day and 6 hours. Dattebayo aren't the makers by the way, they're just fansubbers.

Well when two people who have seen the movie take part in a discussion theres obviously going to be fillers!



But we still haven't seen his potential. Ikkaku is stronger than Ayasegawa, so it's not like he's the second Zaraki or anything.

Ye he's stronger BY RANK. But really the ranks are obvs crap cause we know that Ikkaku is captain-capable yet he's denying reponsibility... and what we've seen of Ayasegawa is, as you say, not his potential. If his shikai can drain an opponents reiatsu to the point where he wins there and then, why should his bankai, should he achieve it, not be enough to defeat Ikkaku without a second glance :rolleyes:

Toshirou was against Kira&Shunsei

in the forest. It really showed his potential cause up to that point his fights had been pretty boring, like, over in a second type thing without him getting really into it (obvs with exception of Mr.T ) so I enjoyed that part.

He can't achieve bankai though and because Ikkaku is a higher rank is proof that hes stronger than Ayasegawa.

On a side note, I was watching the anime the other day, the episode where Kifune kindof spars with Kira after letting out Mayuri's hollows, and it annoys me that some people, namely Kifune and Ikkaku lol, have such impractical Shikai/Bankai. It's just that Kira has such a cool, powerful AND practical, I think that in a fight where only skills were at hand size and shape would play a much bigger part in who won.

He couldn't have. The film was released ages and ages ago, so the "true name" of his zanpakuto wasn't revealed or realised at the time that the movie was released.

Yeah, but ranks still seem to go from strongest to weakest. :rolleyes_ Ikkaku's obviously the leader out of the two and since Ayasegawa knows about Ikkaku's bankai, I'm pretty sure Ikkaku knows about Ayasegawa's shikai. They were together before they became shinigami's afterall. Also Ikkaku has mastered bankai, Ayasegawa has not. Ikkaku is obviously the strongest, in rank and strength.

I think you're forgetting the fact that Ichigo used his vizard powers in this movie. Ayasegawa used his true shikai on that 69 dude during the Soul Society arc when Zaraki was fighting the two captains. The Arrancar arc comes way after that in the anime, so theres no reason why Ayasegawa couldn't have used his shikai. The movie isn't that old. It probably came out during the beginning of the Hueco Mundo arc or something. That might not even matter, it could even be set after the Hueco Mundo arc. The movies don't have to follow a seperate timeline or be set when they're released afterall, this isn't Ghost in the Shell.

All of the movies are being set at the time of which they are released. When the movie was released, Ichigo could use Vizard powers. And where has Ayasegawa previously used his shikai's true name? What manga chapter? Cause I haven't seen it before now. The movies don't have to be set when they are released, but nevertheless - they are. As are the Naruto movies. Of course they're going to do it all in order, especially with a series like Bleach. Otherwise it'll spoil a lot of the future manga and anime episodes. Like, it would be ridiculous to have Ichigo be able to use Vizard powers in the first movie. :rolleyes:
