    That's not what he met by underpowered.. He met it isn't powerful enough to handle all this traffic or multiple computer..

    No, it is quite likely a problem with the router.

    Sometimes a router has had it's day and needs replacing. Maybe this is the case here. Also, in general, Belkin routers aren't very good, but there is always circumstances where they are great for people.

    I think I may just get a new router, any recommendations? It's lasted longer than I expected tbh.

    Look for something Linksys or Netgear branded. Make sure you get the correct type ie. ADSL or cable.
