Router freezing?

This may be just be the most idiotic thing i've heard today :|. The router obviously came with a power supply which was made sure it powered the router properly... The router also doesn't have its on in-built power supply like PC's so... that was so wrong what you said. Your cool but, just had to say that lol.

That's not what he met by underpowered.. He met it isn't powerful enough to handle all this traffic or multiple computer..

If it couldn't handle the traffic it would simply deny the traffic, not necessarily crash.

As i said then, it must be your ISP. (Small posibility its your phone line but i doubt it).

No, it is quite likely a problem with the router.

Sometimes a router has had it's day and needs replacing. Maybe this is the case here. Also, in general, Belkin routers aren't very good, but there is always circumstances where they are great for people.

I think I may just get a new router, any recommendations? It's lasted longer than I expected tbh.

Look for something Linksys or Netgear branded. Make sure you get the correct type ie. ADSL or cable.
