Indeed, ruby is hideous >.<

I quite like my starsGood job to whoever made them (pardon me for not knowing :x )
In total, about 220 users were affected by this change. Of those, 150 are now Sapphire members, meaning they lost minimal features and simply changed colors. If we switch ruby with sapphire then really those 150 will have barely any changes. Then only 70 will be effected, which is less than 10% of our daily users, but not all 70 are even active.
I think a lot of this is a mindset, people thinking they have to work to get back what was once rightfully there however it was stated on the page, and when this was released that the ranks would ultimately be changed, and now they are to a more permanant structure.
You now have to work to get the same features as a paying VIP, having forty platinum members defeated the purpose (that number being chosen by the positioning of the stars and the output of my horoscope, too lazy to figure it out) Anyway, realize that 40,000 posts is not what you need to reach. You max out your features once you hit 20,000. The 40,000 limit is for those who really do stay on, so they have something to achieve beyond 20k. We are considering adding a feature for 5 star platinums but it won't involve reducing the current ranks' features, it will be a completely new one and there will only be one.
So although the upper bound is 40k, once you hit 20k you really do have all there is to have featurewise, except a full set of stars. I know mentally its like "well I've just been demoted" but after people get used to this new system (and there will be ample years to do so, with the exception of the possible switch of ruby and sapphire) it won't seem that way, few will remember what it was before![]()
It costs nothing to be a good friend.

I just don't want to have to go through the Ruby rank again to be honest, I'd much rather go through the new rank (Sapphire) since I'm pretty much completely missing it out.
Your persuasive. Im beginning to get along with you >.< This is not good!In total, about 220 users were affected by this change.
