Not sure if you've noticed but theres a credit crunch and it's hitting our country quite hard. Not even mentioning the high unemployment and jobs drying up.

so you take tax money that could actually contribute to solving the problem. The credit crunch is hardly affecting you as an individual anyway. It's not like you have to worry about getting a job.

    contradicted yourself there.

so taking money out the tax system which could be used to help bail out the banks and adding it to national debt is better yeah? i doubt you need that bonus. I have no problem with people getting ema if they need it, which you might, i don't know. but bonuses are ridiculous. it is a waste of money. i don't get a bonus for going to school, nor should i expect to get one.

huff sorry if i sound offensive

of course it's going to effect me as an individual.. im not 10 anymore, I need to buy everything myself. Yes, I do have to worry about getting job because how else am i supposed to earn money?

Also, I know I don't need the bonus as I've already stated, but it's going to help me. I'm not one of these people who'll go out and spend their EMA on booze and ****.

I get EMA but I do honestly admit, the bonus payments are stupid.

    You're all bitter *******s.

We're in a financial pickle because of greedy and inept banking people, not because of EMA.

The government have just given these useless-suited holiday makers £50bn of our tax money to sort out the problem they got themselves in through greed and idiocy.

If they're going to take taxpayers money, then I should hope they're not going to get rid of the services we need, and the benefits some of us need, to survive.

Grow up a little bit and stop being so stupid and narrow-minded.

EMA does have a play in the issue, if you actually work out how much of EMA is spent from tax payers then its rather alot.

To be honest I think it is terribly unfair, you don't do anything apart from being in secondry education and you get a free £20-£30 a week.

I'm not going to be entitled to EMA, and my parents don't provide me with ANY money, and there household income is £70,000+

I think that the goverment (?) should be spending the money on sorting out the credit crysis when most of my freinds just spend theirs on ciggerettes, junk food and beer

My mate said he complained about EMA at college and he got it pending now in his bank account.
