It's still a fan site though Tim, using Habbo images too. However, they can't seriously think that it's going to happen because these fansites rely on this extra income to keep them open, well Habbox does certainly.

I think it'll be a shame if they start enforcing it... If they do, I can see HxF changing to another name and just getting rid of the Habbo images.

I can understand why they do this for smaller sites that close after a few days and have been selling VIP. Surely they can edit the rules to let gold tier fansites or all official fansites still to charge for VIP, it's ridiculous. Depends how lenient they are you could play the "donate for free VIP" type thing.

Oh yeah, didn't really think about it applying for all fansites, just asumed it was official ones, re-read it now.

That's what an un-official fansite is A site about Habbo that's not official.

The fansites need it for the same thing, if gold tier fansites need the money from VIP don't you think new sites do to?

Yeah but new sites scam more than older more establised ones do. Yeah, I know it would it be the end of new fansites but yeah. I don't think Habbo realise how many people would stop playing if fansites went. Although saying that I bought VIP on CH weeks ago and it's been down like 24/7, great.

I see your point, but tbh I don't think they thought the VIP rule through anyway. It needs to go

Yeah, do they not realise that so many fansite owners are paying some costs right out of their own pocket. Even the ones who make profits, it's ever so marginal and it's likely that they would have been paying out of their own pockets firstly when they were trying to establish themselves.

I don't think the VIP thing concerns HabboxForum as it's Habbox.com that is the official fansite.
I could be mistaken but I think they only mean VIP access on the main site e.g Habbox.com.

    There are different Official Fanistes,
I think Habbox is general so it could include the forum whereas some other fansites are just the forum so it may only be towards them?

But still, I don't see how they expect a fansite like Habbox to run everything on just advertisements?

No a fansite is a website ran or created by fans.. Just tell them no-one on the forum are fans of habbo, we just talk about it.. and habbox forum will be ok :eusa_whis.
