fashionable just means conforming to a current style. so basically whatever is popular to wear is "fashionable", be it a thousand dollar suit or only underpants and an oversized tee. so it really has nothing to do with being gay :/

Depends how the girl is. Meet some girls who wear something and feel confident wearing it, then you have another girl who's too self concious so it's a turn off.
