Default Microphone input to speakers - live?

    Hello,

Does anyone know any software that I can use so that the input coming in through where my microphone plugs in plays through my speakers?

Thanks in advance, and +rep to first correct answer.
    Kind Regards,

    Guy

What do you mean thats very unclear.

Do you mean is there software that allows you, instead of having a microsoft to play whats coming through speakers.

I.e. Your playing N-Dubz ouch on Windows media player and you start a mic convo with someone on MSN, you want them to hear the N-Dubz track?

I'm on vista, can't find Volume Control.

What I mean is, I have a mixer plugged into my computer, and want my computer's speakers to act as its speakers (whilst being able to record the line in), so how can I do this?
    Kind Regards,

    Guy

I don't see a line in on any levels tag of the playback devices.
