The undead BROKE AWAY from the scourge, as Sylvanas was risen as one then gave Arthas the finger and settled in under Lordaeron. Thus creating a new faction, The Forsaken.
As for the Burning Legion (TBC), how on earth, how on EARTH did that benefit the Horde in any way.

The Scourge are creations of the Lich King, aiming to kill anything other than themselves.

Well, new kara boss is today. Few guildies and I went to zerg him, he went down nicely. Dropped a pet (all the raid can get it), and an axe which you can play as a guitar.
