Uh, I'm with "Telefonica", the main Spanish ISP and phone company. My current speed is like 3mb but it's soon to be 6mb for 1 euro extra a month. Anyway, I download a lot and it has never been limited so it's good I suppose.![]()
I was under the impression that regardless of over exceeding plans, the ISP would restrict users. They only limit you if you go past your quoata, it's the same on all the ISPS, they check to see who uses up most of their services/bandwhich and target them to keep it fair so it doesn't disrupt others. Thing is 30gb is alot of badnwhich and not many people use it up, if I want unlimited which I probably don't need I'll have to pay double what I do so there really isn't much point in doing so (I don't exceed my limit often anyway :p)
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
Good as always to be honest, BT Internet, peak time, paying for 8mb. This month, so far, I must of downloaded atleast 80GB, and uploaded almost as much.
Kind Regards,

Give the company a ring. "Excuse me ___, why was my internet connection limited?". Act pissed off.
i've been here for over 8 years and i don't know why
And the Japanese will soon (or have) got there 1gbps internet.I barely make 500kb/s when downloading.

"My whole life is a dance"
I'm so glad Orange have no issues
I would phone up and tell them what you think :/ Limiting the usage of your internet is a bit... backwards. It's 2008, we're meant to be technologically advancing, not limiting!
