As the xbox was manufactured there was a fault causing overheating n such to cause the RROD, hence they gave it 3 year extra warranty for RROD's and not any other error thats nothing to do with microsofts faults, which is perfectly fine, as they could have left it gaining thousands/millions of users getting a RROD.

anyway they do not check how many red lights you have when you send it away they simply send you someone elses that has been fixed before you cause i had 1 bottom right red light said i had 3 on the phone sent it away got another it works fine
