360 1 red light Eugh.

Yea i brought my 360 in may last year and i have 1 red light with a error code of E 74 (Apparently its an av cable problem) so like u do i unplugged it all and plugged it in again. still 1 light. took out the hd and extras and turned it on still 1 light.

So yea its basically dead.
But app u only get 1 year guarentee and i have had it longer dan dat so would they charge me or should i get let off?

u wont get let off as you only get let off if its the 3 red lights, the warranty is one year after that it costs.

am sending my mates xbox of cos the dvd drive broke. just say you get 3 rings after hour of gameplay, they aint gunna waste an hour.

I got mine 3years ago, getting it repaired for first time this week and its free. look on www.xbox.com/support .
o if its only for 3red rings dnno.

If you send away and its problem with the AV they might not actually get it up and running, just sort the problem then make sure when it loads theres no 3 lights, might not plug it into their TV's so they could send it back and has the same problem as before with an extra 4 weeks or so wasted
