I don't see what difference it makes myself, I'm going to visit a new ground and sample the atmoshphere - I ain't going wanting to join in with the chants or want a particular team to win, just watch some football.

Fairly certain I won't be 'abused' either. It ain't as if every single person in the ground will be stood arms aloft belting out the chants, is it?

I know what you mean, though...

In the Manchester derby... yes it is. And if your not stood up you'll be called a rag and then booted until the stewards jump in. In any other match you'll be fine, just not the Manchester derby. And it's not really good sampling the atmosphere at grounds on derby day and not wanting to sing because people will suspect your a fan from the away end and will give you abuse.

They could all just say "We're from Carlisle, we haven't got a game, so we came down to watch this. We went to Boro v Newcastle, yesterday" Most people who are fans from the "away end" do sing because they don't want to draw attention to themselves.

Well then the City fans will go "Well we don't want you in here, we want a blue so get the **** outa here now". It's just not the same if you ask me.

So, you're trying to tell me, if I don't sing the anthem, I'm not Welsh? It's the same thing, really.

I think if thats true, Man City & Utd supporters aren't very... loyal to their team. I mean, they would rather not have a possible supporter rooting for their team. Nah they'd rather chuck em out and uphold the reputation of the team being full of ********.

Win win sitch... lol. Liverpool v Everton isn't even that bad, and hell that's something of a Derby. Ever been in a packed stadium full of scousers? Fear for your life if you're on the winning side! Luckily I've never had that problem LOL.

No, if you don't sing that bluebird song while you'll in the home end in the Cardiff derby what will happen to me if I'm just sat down with jeans and a jacket on? Not joining in to any chants?

When Cardiff played Swansea, I was literally ******* myself. The passion was there, the atmosphere was there, the masses of police were there but the amount of men who couldn't give a **** about the result was, well, scary.
