Just to make things a bit clearer, I've been tussling with the issue of resigning for the last few weeks, which is what I assume the 'underlying issue' is.
Alice is right, this is an almost entirely thankless job and I didn't mind it being like that but eventually it became a less than thankless job which has now become a job in which people moan and whinge when they don't get their own way. It's a real shame that it's lead to this, I used to enjoy this job but the last 'throw the rattle out of the crib' moment was the straw that broke the camels back and at the moment the camel is contemplating getting back up or whether to just lay where he falls.
Rest assured though, whatever happens, the current reputation issues will get done. They may just take a bit longer than everyone's used to.

Aaw, that's a shame. You've been around for some time now, it wouldn't be right to see you leave because of a few user's rude comments. You're right though, we should give you more credit for doing this. Dealing with all the reputation issues for the entire forum is no light task.

I couldn't agree more. Having -rep removed is a privilege and shouldn't be taken for granted. I do wish the penalties were harsher for those that waste your time, by that I mean those that deliberately give unnecessary -rep. However, I do realise distinguishing what is and isn't pointless is debatable on occasion. So I don't envy your position at all. It's not one I could do, so I applaud you for doing it Hope you stick around!

As Hoteluser said it is a shame as you've been here a long time and it would be sad to see you go. I agree that you should have more credit for the job you do for Habbox however you should understand that if the Users are promised a service they should received it, free or not and if someone had just posted in teh thread before it got out of hand saying there was a issue, I'm sure people wouldn't be writing negative comments.
