Whats Better? PS3 Or Xbox 360?

Well, lets start - Each console has their advantages and disadvantages

-Price
PS3 - £299
Xbox - £100-£300

-Graphics
Looks the same to me, through HDTVs that is

-Games
Xbox has far more games, but it has been out longer - DVD - 7gb i think
PS3 Uses blu-ray - 50gb

--- Games that are not PS3 exclusive do not harness the available disk space fully - Ususally this means that Xbox and PS3 are equivelant

--- Some games on PS3 seem to have more errors, weather this is the creators or a PS3 problem? A game for this would be Fallout 3 - The ps3 has some bad glitches, Xbox doesnt seem too

-Online
Xbox Live - £40 Per year
PS3 - FREE

From what i've heard from a friend (With PS3 AND XBOX) Xbox live is better and alot more fun, you pay for what you get (I dont really know about this though)

OVERALL

The PS3 is good if you watch lots of movies in HD - Blueray
Xbox is better if you prefer to watch DvDs and want a wider spectrum of games

But, dont competely listen to this, read some other none-bias reviews

people who own an xbox is going to say xbox, people who own a ps3 is going to say ps3 so basically, if theres more people on this forum with xbox's, xbox will win and the same for ps3. could be wrong though.

if you own a ps3 you'll pick that and vice versa. I own a ps3 so obviously I think it's better.. But not just cus I own one. I'm already used to the controllers, gameplay is therefore easier. I have a big tv so I can make use of the bd movies. Psn is free and is about the same as xbox live. It just felt like the right choice lol. I'm still waitin for the possibilty for xbox vs ps3 online. That would just be awesome

i have a ps3, but ive played on the xbox. and there both great consoles. i think its down to opinion.
