If they email Habbo threatening to remove the rare values then the price of rares would increase rapidly which would mean the price of credits would drop. There for less people would buy credits or Habbo would have to decrese the price of credits (the rare values wouldn't ever be removed even if Habbo didn't remove the rule).

if habbox forum became a more general site there could be forums to ask advice that can only be replied to by volunteer councillors? there could be a health forum that has a real doctor or 2 who are only allowed to reply.

I am sure there are plenty of people who would do this for free but of course they would need to be checked out the current health forums etc manage to get the question askers laughed at by smart comments lol also there are the morons who post stupid stuff which i wont mention in detail.

I agree with yonder and people would just use the next site down who has rare values. Trying to hold sulake at gun point would cause more damage than good.

Yeah, most people on hxf don't use Habbo anyway. Keep Habbox as an official site, and branch HxF off as a general online gaming/teen life site. Change its name and pictures, etc.

This is a great idea and thought I better say so as others have ignored you in this thread for some reason lol

I will explain what can be done and presume its what you are thinking

1) Change habboxforum.com to another domain that is aimed at teens and older (stop trying to get rid of us old ones) and general online gaming.

2) when people go to habboxforum.com it goes to a page that says habboxforum.com is no longer a habbo hotel fansite has changed name due to its popularity and is now aimed at teens and alot of online games including habbo. have a link to go to the new site explaining that people will still be registered as before and maybe even a mass email to all members explaining this.
Remember to add the reason for this move would be down to sulakes bullying tactics.

3) remove habbo graphics from the actual skins but i dont think they can do much about them in posts if they do ask you to remove them all from the posts say of course we will and just ask them to send links to every post they require removing they will soon realise that will take them forever lol
remove habbo avatars from the site and then its up to members to add their own habbo want habbo ones removing they must email the links to each member profile they need changing

4) resign hx.com as official the official list was laughed at for years because the biggest and most popular fansite was not on the list this will make their list a total joke and waste of time we all know the only reason they have it is so they can throw their weight around at teens who do whatever they say.

5) point out the rebranded forum from hx.com explaining although it is a teen forum there is alot of habbo related content including trading etc.

6) alter the graphics forums so there is also options to add other online games alts in their on forums so its not just habbo.

7) add some trading forums alongside habbo trading so its aimed at other games you could do this by making the main category online game trading and then a list of subforums opens with runescape, habbo and anything else popular.

8) get the new domain known with alot of other online games to bring in more users who i hope are more mature than the average habbo although it seems most are pretty good on here

9) hxf needs to evolve and getting away from mainly habbo would be good of course an unofficial hx.com could still point habbos this direction and also get new members from more mature games

This would keep most the current members and gain you some more it would also make habbos who are getting fed up with habbo realise there are more mature or different game sites out there that would take people away from habbo slowly and they will have shot theirselves in their webbed feet with 6 toes on each.

I would also like to see HxF evolve from being a forum based around Habbo. Having said that I think it's too risky to just make the jump into being a non-Habbo related forum. Perhaps Habbox could just create a new forum separate from Habbo and keep HxF open (Using Impex to transfer over all relative posts to this new forum) and use funding from this new forum to pay for Habbox too. If it's a success, then HxF can be shut down completely and this new forum can be used. Venturing out into other markets anyways to get funding for Habbox is a good idea in my opinion.

David, if they had another forum to pay for on top of habbox and HxF then it cost alot more, and as hxf would still be here majority would stay and not transfer to the new forum, so less vip sold

Id be worried about the forum if it became teen related and not just Habbo.

HabboNation's forum which had a very big userbase changed to a general teen forum and it dropped dramatically.

Im not saying it might happen but there may be alot of people who still want to discuss Habbo and getting stick from other members saying "THIS ISNT A HABBO FORUM SO SHUSH!"

Oh and would this mean the removal of habbo-related skins?

It wouldn't as habbo would still have its sections, and people who posted 2THIS ISNT A HABBO FORUM SO SHUSH" in habbo sections would just get warned/infracted/edited posts.

It would'nt necessary mean removal of habbo-related skins as habbox would still have the disclaimer and so on until habbo kicked up a trantrum and complained to hosts.

You could have all habbo forums in a sub section then keep the general teens on on index.php solved.
