I think what we should all do, even now, is just click maybe two ads for everytime we visit HabboxForum. It hardly takes long, and if we all did it, it would help a lot! I've started clicking a couple of ads each time I visit.

Every time an ad is clicked HxF receives money basically, so the more clicks there are the more money HxF will receive.

I just clicked one, it was actually something interesting for a change.

I don't agree with the idea of making the forum non-Habbo based. Forums without real direction don't work for long - the massive teen forums that are currently around have their userbase from long ago and have built up their names, anything else really has to have a focus point. Here that focus is Habbo, and that's what brings in new users. Although a massive amount of people who post regularly and are well-known do not actually play Habbo any more, there are thousands of members who do and who come on here for the Habbo news and rare reports etc., even if they don't make themselves known. Furthermore it's nice having something in common with everyone (ie: pretty much all of us have been on Habbo at some time), it makes the community work better together.

How many spin-off forums from HxF have actually worked? Habmate was probably the most successful, but even that didn't last, because no matter how many big names you bring across, it's the massive userbase here that keeps it going, and cutting a load of them off won't do anyone any favours.

If you read the thread you'd see that they've been in contact with Habbo about this as much as they can and they're still trying to sort things out. A petition will do nothing, sorry to say.

What comes to mind is all official fansites turning down their official status :/ It'll mean Habbo will have alot of work cut out for them, they have to remove the official fansites page for a start and will kinda prove that fansites are not happy and that fansites are aware that Habbo do not deserve their services in promoting a pretty lame company. But it depends if fansites really do love their nulled pixel image which proves nothing of worth or value, from Habbo, at least

If this had to become a general teen or gaming forum to keep it going then what else can be done? none of the habbo content would be removed but a few more non habbo related bits added just so sulake couldnt claim it was a habbo fansite. I would sooner see Sierk try and change it to keep it going than see it die out due to lack of funding because of some greedy multi-national company.
I dont think any forums have really been born and survived from habbox users there are some who get a few visitors a day but when you look more closely its just their staff.

The idea of rebranding HxF is a good one in my opinion but I also agree it is the last resort if the people at sulake/habbo dont change this stupid rule.

Maybe when sierk gets legal advice all this worry might not have been needed but whatever happens if habbo dont change the rule habbox will have to do something drastic.

If this rule stands I would sooner close than put any more hard work in and see the site slowly die I would NEVER help or promote sulake any more

Just like pretty much every fansite, ClubHabbo are challenging Habbo in a way they see fit. Habbox won't be signing a petition any time soon I don't think as it isn't the right way to approach it.

What can habbo do anyways, other than remove official and ask for the images to be removed? lol. Nothing much i'd assume.

As they can't exactly get the website closed if you don't have their images on it.
