Sulake cracking down on VIP

My fansite was told we were aloud to have VIP, as long as it was accepted as a donation towards the site. Thats what the Hotel Manager told us atleast.

HabbleFM.com, we are official. Its for the UK Hotel, and Sulake has not messaged us. Lost_Witness told us that you have to word the description of buying VIP carfully.

This looks like Habbo are picking on the bigger sites so they either close or lose visitors. How come ALL the official sites have not been contacted about this?

I can't actually see how your site got offical, I did a poll over on my site and 70% of the people said they have never heard of it. So yeh.

HabbleFM forum advertises VIP and all it says is

All money raised will help pay for the extremely costly site - with thanks.

As far as other sites go, Habbox is MUCH bigger than other sites and therefore has higher hosting costs. CH is the only one who would even be close.

I don't really know what the deal is with HFFM but that's a bit of a double standard on Sulake's part, though I don't blame DJ::Beatz at all and I don't think anyone should, if I were him I'd keep mine up until I was told to take it down (as a matter of fact, many months ago we were told not to worry about it until Sulake contacted us.

I am going to ask them to allow us to run the charity promotion, and we will fight the rule but unless we are sure that service will not be interrupted we may be forced to cease VIP selling, for the time being. If we cannot get Sulake to change the rule or simply stop persecuting the fansites we will probably see if we can get in touch with upper level management, else we'll take it to the press probably. Of course plans change so we shall see.

Can buy VIP for 2 years for £24... Better get stocking up then
