Unfortunately that isn't really in the nature of habbox, our aim is to provide useful, easily accessible resources to people because we enjoy putting it there, if we charge for it it'd become much more like a business than a fansite. Charging for additional features is fine (well, not fine with sulake, but fine with habbox) but charging for core features isn't

If Habbox wants to lose all of their viewers than your idea would work. Otherwise it's a terrible idea, as people will just go to HHGS or ClubHabbo (as they're getting values)...and their values will be free.

There was an idea before. How about, when you donate you automatically get entered into a prize draw to win VIP. But, everyone's a winner! (But Habbo wouldn't know who bought VIP, so they won't know whos won and whos not so as far as they know all 20 people that bought VIP (Per say), won, but they think that theres other people that lost but there isn't). No clue if that makes sence

It's a work around that seems little bit too obvious to me. Also it would just seem a bit silly to hold a draw if everyone knew it was simply to avoid that rule. For it to work everyone would have to know it worked like that and if Habbo really cared about enforcing this rule seriously I highly doubt they would allow that.

Fair point Maybe not everyone won then lol. Maybe you had a 50:50 chance of winning or so, and if you didn't win, your name rolled over into the next weeks draw, and it keeps happening until you either win or it can be done according to the amount you donate, e/g £1 gives you 4 weeks worth of draws.

Stupid rule, stupid hotel, stupid updates.

Basically Habbo is ruining itself. I spend about 30 mins to an hour each day on Habbo which is only spent collecting values mainly because I think its been ruined. I love my job and care about Habbox so I carry on going on. Now, when the effects come it'll be even worse. More idiots going around saying "Look @ me im 1337 in my ufo" - I mean seriously? Sulake what are you doing.

As for this rule, all of the fansites are losing a lot of respect for Sulake. I for one will not be spending the £1.50 on Habbo once this rule comes into place and I know a lot of others won't either. Why don't Sulake understand this?

Still it's a bit risky and a bit obvious that we're trying to bend the rules as at the end of the day it's just to off VIP. I don't think that sort of scheme is allowed under the fansite rules really anyway - personally I don't think it would work but I could be wrong. Thanks for your feedback anyway!
