    Default Sky Multiroom

Basicly I want sky multiroom in my bedroom but sky want £50 just for a normal sky box, £60 for installation and £10 a month for multiroom.

What I want is them to supply a free box and fit it for free, I have phoned them but they are being quite stubborn and say they cant offer me any discount.

Does anyone know how to make them give me a discount? I know some people threaten to leave sky unless they do and it has worked for them but I would rather not risk loosing the sky (mum would kill me lol)

I think they are being a bit tight tbh, my Mum has been a sky customer as long as I can remember and they cant even give a discount?

they dont need to give u anything. dont be so tight n just bloody pay for it!

they're offering you a service, not the other way round. at the end of the day, its a business and the main aim of that is to maximise profits. if they gave everyone who asked, discount, how would they make a lot of money?

They wond give you it. My dads friend had absolutely every channel on sky, adult channels, music channels, movie channels and the rest and was forking out a fortune each month. Then he wanted a sky+HD box and they said £150 and didnt take into consideration his loyalty and the money he given to them so said poke it. Go to Virgin or something.

Virgin are just as bad. We recently canceled our Sky subscription because we didn't want to pay a huge media company the money just to have them control what we get.q

Well if you want certain channels you have to put up with it and I know Virgin can be just as bad.

No need to be such a stressy little b*tch about it! Im simply asking because I have heard about people threatening to leave unless they get a discount so sky said ok heres what we can do.

If you have a choice to pay less or pay more your obviously going to choose less. Idiot.

As true as that maybe for some, some of us aren't rude and ratty to get our own way. Granted when my family got multi-room we got a discount, but at the moment they maybe hessitating, and what you quote for a box, fitting and monthly subscriptions really doesn't sound alot to me :/

Virgin are better tbh. You can threaten to leave sky and they will 'try their hardest', most of the time they meet you half way on the deal. Worked in the past loads of times when my dad has done it for various things (Moving house, installations).
    y'wha?

woteva cuz im not the one whos too tight to pay £100. if u av heard ppl do it, then use your brain (yes, your brain) and try it out.

you know of the possibly consequences, so u dnt rly need to hear anything else. with that, you can take your own insult n call up sky with ur cheapo attitude.
