    Default Cheap cars please

    Hiya

I have been on my mums insurance for about 6 months but my dads car is brkoe so they are going to go back to sharing just the 1 car - meaning I won't have the car at all basically.

So I am looking for quite a cheap car either to buy at a cheapish price or one thats quite cheap but can pay on finance?

I will be paying roughly about the same on insurance anyway (£100) so just want a cheap car of my own.

Would appreciate links! thanks a lot

Autotrader is great way to get an idea for what is a reasonable price. I don't know where in Scotland you live, but by simply entering your postcode, then leave the make and model blank, hatchback presumably and enter your lowest and highest price you are prepared to pay, followed by engine size.

I used a guessed post code of EH2 1LP don't know if it exists, and came up with these, they all are fairly low mileage, good condition and low insurance groups. Also if you plan on finance, I would suggest you try your bank first, then you know how much spending power you have
