If he has eye for the ball and comes in 2 footed, it is a foul wether he got the ball or not. Sometimes you dont even need to touch the player to give away a foul, depends if its a lunge or a slide, 2 footed or single footed.
If you make a one footed slide at the ball and get the ball and the player falls after, it is a good challange. If your foot is above the ball, but eyes still on the ball and you get (slightly) the ball but hit the player, it can be a red card.
And you poll isnt really very good as i stated, if i got the ball but 2 footed it is a foul, so it matters...

.
i thought any tackle from behind was a foul?
Do you ever feel like you want to go home?
Lost in the crowd and you feel alone
I thought it wasn't a foul if the player won/played the ball. If they miss the ball completely and just make contact with the player the obviously that's a foul.
I love it when youflex like that
but people think in a bad tackle aslong as the player touches the ball even in the slightest that rules out that its a foul.
and i thinks its stupid how some people rely decision making on soley ball touch or not.
all that matters to me is the player gets the ball first, if he breaks the other players leg afterward it doesn't bother me lol.
It's a badly worded question, but generally yes, with exceptions.

You're not allowed to do a 2 footed tackle anyway?
If the player gets the ball, it's not a foul. I think, if they go in two-footed, they can be penalised for that anyway, despite the outcome of the player being tackled.
If they go in two-footed but getting the ball, it's up to the referee to make the final decision.
