this is about singing and i'm going to judge it on that, PCD didn't form through a singing competiton and the only reason they're big is because of the catchy songs that are produced for them. They've been critisized hundreds of times about the fact that Nicole is the only one singing and the 'lead' in JLS is even that good to lead the whole group I don't think. Alex puts emotion & passion into her songs, that's why she nearly broke down in tears in the Beyonce duet and don't say she was doing it for Sympathy because when Beyonce sang at the EMA's this year, after the performance she broke down into tears as she was so emotional from the song. Alex deserves this, she's a world class star, she's like Leona Lewis (wow she can sing as good as her...?) and the passion & emotion she puts in her music then she'll get far.

I respect your opinion, however, I believe that Alex being like Leona isn't a good song. I know Leona is brilliant and it is really good to be like her but they're pretty much the same person but do people really think Alex is better than Leona and can compete with her? I don't think so. There's not many boybands out there and I think that JLS would make the biggest progression out of the lot.

Alex isn't like Leona.
Just because she isn't white, is a girl and can sing well does not mean she is anything like Leona. Alexandra is better in the lower register whereas Leona is better doing the high twiddly notes. That is the truth, listen for yourself.

She has my vote. Several of them actually.
GAYLS and Eggnog look like amateurs in comparison but I still doubt she'll win this.

& I agree on the PCD comparisons but you're forgetting the fact that PCD have Melody Thornton doing adlibs, she could be a world star herself if they gave her half the chance. JLS don't have that. They have gayface and that's it. Plus, I don't see JLS putting on a performance like PCD whatsoever. They're nowhere near stars - yet, anyway.
