Even considering what he did, I don't think that anyone deserves to have their life taken away from them unless they feel they have the right to take away other people's. Indeed. Even suggesting he should of been killed and be mutilated in such a way is pretty sick, and as you said, if he wasn't in prison maybe he was deemed fit to be in public. Heck, the people in that article made him seem pretty decent, and at his age he didn't commit many offences :/
