    There's four stages:
Audition one (In front of University Students)
    Audition two (Producers)
Audition three is an interview (Fix! )
    Audition four (Producers again)

The fifth audition is the first audition in front of the judges.

And think how demoralising it is to the ones who are sort of good when they see the absolute awful people go through to the judges. Its evil.

Also all the pictures you see in the arenas full of thousands of people is the very first audition. They make it look like they all see the judges, but anyone with a brain could work that out.

it's kind of obvious they dont all go to judges, i mean

    100,000+ auditions
200,000 minutes of the judges time
    thats like 4 months+
    they're not gonna work 24/7
so if they worked 8 hours a day, no breaks, no days off, they could get all auditions done in a year...
    8-]
    i got bored.
