I would say it should be fine without bridging the connection - if you do bridge it, you need to computer to be on at the same time (but you also save £50 on the wireless adapter!)

Its fine, cos games sync anyway.

Try wrapping tin foil around the antenna on the back (my mate ses it works)

i will probably do the bridging method. if it saves me £50 ill do it. I know there is a stickied thread at the top but ive tried doing the steps on my laptop and its totally different to how the screenshots look. its probably just me being useless with laptops but hopefully i can sort it out

sorry for double post but my mum has just told me she has braught the wireless adapter along with the xbox so no need to worry about paying £50 are these simple to set up and are there any essential steps to take while setting it up.
