I'm on Windows and I use AVG.

Oh and at the people saying you're not stupid enough to download an infected file, you do know that a virus can be downloaded through temporary internet files and what not, so to get infected all you have to do is go onto a site, and there are way more ways than that as well.
i'm out of touch, i'm out of love
i'll pick you up when you're getting down
and out of all these things i've done

You can easily get infected by a virus by visiting a malicious web page, there is a need for virus protection, you can simply just not use it, but that's just like parking a Ferrari in the middle of London, with the keys in the car door, lots of people are watching it, if someone gets in, but when someone gets in you've lost it.

I've had no virus protection for 3 months and I don't have any viruses yet. As long as you stick to safe websites its fine not to have any.

I have no script for firefox so there is no way a script could download a virus to my computer. I'm 99% sure I don't have a virus.
