Is it wrong to support Detroit Red Wings because they were my team on like... NHL 2006?

They're also the Stanley Cup champions.

There was the first NHL Outdoor stadium game on 1st of Jan 2008, but this (I think) is the first "Winter Classic" as a tradition. Have you seen the jerseys for the game? Both teams are wearing old school influenced designs for this game alone! Pretty cool. My new Red Wings jersey should be arriving in the post any day

Ye, I know. I realised when I searched Winter Classic on google. Make a change from last year when the game was played on the Bills pitch to this year, on the Wrigley field. From American football to Baseball.

Yeah, I've seen the jerseys. I'd buy some of them myself but the prices really put me off. It's not what we'd pay over here for a football top.

I ordered a normal away jersey off eBay for cheap, you can get them for new and good prices, the official shops are just ridiculously expensive!

How did you pay? They seem to be like $150 which is like £90.

Some how I got away with getting a Chelios named and numbered away jersey, Reebok official with fight strap for $58 on ebay.com! I don't know why it was so cheap, stolen probably haha. Just lucky, but they can get really expensive. Just money from work and stuff that meant I could get it though.

Now $58 is around £35-40 which is the price you'd pay over here for a replica top. My local team, Cardiff Devils, charge £40 for theirs. Seeing as they'll probably make it so that it's different teams every year so I wouldn't mind getting one of the tops but P+P from America will cost a bomb. Meh.

We have the Avalanche minor league team here in cleveland.
Lake Erie Monsters. They play like 20 mins away from where i live.
    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.
