Bets because they were a good team... or his family supported them. Most Man Utd supporters are glory hunters, it's hard to find a hardcore Man Utd supporter out of Manchester. In fact, I don't think thats possible.
Before you call me a glory hunter for whatever reason, I support Everton LOL.
Said it all.
YOU WHAT LOL! Hypocrite much?
Thats rich from someone who's lives in Devon and supports Everton.
You should be cheering on your local pub team!
It just when i was small, my older brothers used to watch the united games all the time and that's how I've gotten to be a united fan. Would of have been the same if they was supporting a different team.
I even had a little teddy bear and named it after Teddy Sheringham.

Uhm, I used to live in Liverpool... I've only been away for 4 years, and I would not support any team around here, ever. It's all amateur footy around here, Torquay utd lolss.
I 'supported' Arsenal for a number of years however, I see now why my home town club needs my support and from about 14 months ago 'til I die, it shall receive that support no matter what.
I was going to direct Adam to this thread but as he has replied, I have no need to.
.
I also find it more of a challenge to support my club - I mean, how easy is it to support Manchester United? Very easy, that's how easy. You're guarenteed to have a good season every season no matter what (for now anyway). Whereas if you support lower-league clubs, you have your ups and your downs and are never guarenteed anything, apart from surprises. I still look out for Arsenal and like to see them do well, but my support is fully on Doncaster and if Doncaster play Arsenal, I will be wearning a Doncaster shirt, and not an Arsenal one.
UNITED UNITED LOL
EASY!!!! We are definately gonna win the league again, and the FA Cup and the League Cup and the CL and win everything!
