    Default Wireless Internet

    Hello!

My mate gave me his Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 Laptop for Christmas Day, the only problem is, is trying to get the wireless internet to work. I installed the disc of the adapter onto the laptop but it isn't connecting, any reasons why?

Right first I installed the CD onto the laptop, then it told me to insert the USB ( I inserted it into the Laptop ) Then it should have worked from there but the wireless isn't picking it up.

Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Make sure network adapter is enabled on your computer

Control panel ->network connections -> right click connection then select properties -> Click Configure on your adapter

    XP

    Vista

Something like that and then another window will pop-up after you've clicked configure and under the general tab there should be sumit like.. device usage: (sez tht on mine) make sure it is ENABLED.

The laptop wasn't the best spec anyway so we took it back, my mum never liked it either.

Me neither lol, by the way them suggestions you sent probably would have worked to get the wireless working, because I never tried that, but I'm glad we took it back because it was so slow lmao.
