    We told you in fact that he would be treated the same but you wouldn't accept it. Well there you bloody well go, three people were charged three weren't. Stevie G was, therefore celebs aren't exempt from the law like you were trying to tell us.

    they should make an example of him. its harsh but they need to show young kids you can just punch someone then give 'em money to shut them up.

    Sorry to piss on your bonfires, but he won't be going to jail. From what I've seen, he has been charged with ABH, not GBH which is the more serious offence. Therefore he'll be likely to get fined/tagged/community service at the very most. Then they'll have to take into account that it's probably his first offence and that he's a pillar of the community with all his charity work etc away from football...
