I read on someones blog that it had finished the beta and wouldnt be up until after next year so dont start blaming me for saying its not open. Blame the person who posted it.

BETA 1 has ended which means we no longer accept new registrations, but it's back in the new year with BETA 2.

Are you thick? I never once said that you said it wasn't good, I'm just saying.. there's no need for you to come in this thread 'arguing' saying you don't see why people have voted it the 'best site'.

You coming in here saying that was not needed at all, and didn't contribute to the thread any, only created arguments.

So please, next time, refrain from posting stupid and idiotic posts, that have nothing to do with the nature of this thread (voting for the awards), instead of just coming in here criticizing people's voting choice.

This isn't a thread nor discussion about Today.im, so kk., please refrain yourself from posting anymore comments about it, or about the BETA period and business , unless you are voting in the awards.

Any thread is open for discussion otherwise it wouldnt be a forum. I wouldnt vote in these awards anyway. As you said in the first post you dont win anything, only the glory of being the winner which will just make anyone a cocky ****** like you

I don't see why it's such a big deal that our site is private and is being voted. If those people are users or even if they aren't it's not causing harm. They may like the site as a whole or might like what they've heard or seen from other people.

Jaiku is constantly up for major awards and it's not even public. So I don't see why Tim should suffer because it's closed in a small community award, especially when the two developers are part of the community :S

i dont think anyone is seeing my point. I didnt know it was open in the beta still so ill take my comments back that i said i dont see why people are voting for you. I just thought it was closed properly until further notice.

what i was saying was that not many people would know exactly what it does until its open so i didnt see why people were voting for it. Tehupload's been the most successful one ive seen so far as im sure it has a good number of users.

You obviously wanted some sort of 'emotional reaction' out of someone, and you obviously wanted to start an argument between users.. considering these two posts.. which you clearly stated your opinion twice :rolleyes:.

under the first quote i gave my reasons so it was needed, the second was after i was jsut reiterating what i said so no reason was necessary. As you said, that is MY opinion and i can say what i like.

Then why are you posting in the D&D Awards? I mean seriously..? Of course it's a 'free forum', 'you can post where you like', but if you don't know anything about D&D, you really don't.. 'fit in here'.

Threads are created to get a certain 'groups'/'community'/'persons' opinion on something.. this is the D&D Awards, which call for people of the D&D community.. you really don't meet that category, so you posting here is just a waste, and will just continue to start arguments.

Im sure half the people who have voted in this know nothing about the things ive posted in the other post. if i remember correctly, when you were looking for a new layout for tehupload i even pm'd you with a design... fair enough it was **** but that was ages ago and i cba'd
