    Default This okay?

The graphics card is integrated, but I don't want it for heavy gaming or anything.. just average computer use.

Is the processor okay? I can upgrade for £19 to a Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200.

Is the ram okay or would 4gb not be noticeable and I would be better of with 3gb?

The PSU i can upgrade to 500W for £10 or is 450 okay?

All together (including VAT and Delivery) it's £317.35.

    Thanks.

4GB from 3GB is noticable, its when you have 8GB from 4GB that it isn't really.

The CPU isn't that great if im honest, I would stick to a 500w PSU for future upgrades.

Should I upgrade for £20 then? I don't want some big system, it's only for home use and general browsing internet, downloading etc.

Also, side note. How do I connect a monitor to a TV? Some sort of lead I need I take and were do I connect it (back of my TV > ?). Cos would I need a special graphics card or does it go from monitor?

    Thanks

Yeh you should upgrade, its only £20 to upgrade.

Im not sure what lead you would need, what socket does your TV have? Also it would depend what your graphics card had on it, DVI or VGA

    Oki, I'll upgrade it.

Ummm, the sources it has is:

    TV
    DTV
    EXT-1
    EXT-2
    FAV
    HDMI-1
    HDM-2
    YPbPr

Not sure what FAV is, YPbPr I use for my Xbox.

DTV is freeview and EXT is scart leads.

Could I connect it via hdmi? Or would I need a hdmi monitor?

    Thanks.

You will need a HDMI - DVI (or VGAm depending on your graphics card) lead.

Im guessing you want to hook up 2 monitors to this computer, your TV and a monitor?

Yeah two monitors, I'm not that fussed if I can't do it but it would be nice.

You can if you add a proper graphics card to it instead of the integrated graphics. You would then need, as said, a VGA or DVI to HDMI cable depending on the graphics card input. You plug the TV and the Monitor both into the graphics card then (graphics cards today have 2 ports)

Ah, okay. I'll consider doing that then, just nice to know.

The system I posted first with the different CPU and 500W PSU is okay then? For the price and everything or can you recommend something else.

    Thanks.

I'd suggest a quad or decent core 2 dual processor

ram is fine but you could get 800mhz or better

other than that its fine if you don't need gaming etc.
