So will members have to re-create threads that had a point to them? It seems a bit of a waste... Could moderators start re-opening recently closed threads, if members argue their point for why the thread was useful and interesting or should the moderators have the final judgement, because there are some interesting threads I can think of

What would the best way to go about asking for such threads to be re-opened, or would it be wise not to as of yet?

^ Might aswell chuck out some of the common questions that might pop-up

right, so anyone who disagrees with a rule and feels strongly about it should 'grow up'.

ok, thanks for the feedback nvr.

btw on a different note id like to excuse the language I used, it was not really neccesary.

You did act in the wrong way about it though.

Getting angry and saying that all managers are terrible because of this rule is a bit different to feeling strongly on a subject.

I want to stress, however, that there is a way to do things, and certain people seem to be really freakin bad at it. The one who actually sparked discussion was GommeInc who made good points in the appropriate form. Even the thread starter was fairly good with his comments. But two users in particular stand out as the reasons things don't get done but instead get mired into defensive arguments.

There won't really be a rule, we will simply reserve the right to close threads we feel are pointless. Simply because there is no rule that can replace the judgement necessary. Apparently Moderators have interpreted Post Your threads to be a much wider category than originally intended, and that's not necessarily their fault. I've had a lot to look at as our focus has been Christmas and overhauling Habbox so I didn't pay as much attention to the effect of this as I should have. This is one place where the Forum Manager will come in handy, without me there was nobody to really look hard at this rule and its effects in the forums, but now the FMs will be able to.

    Grow up.
This proves just how childish the management are, I think you need to get real and get over your self. You ego is too big for this forum, you think your making it better and better but actually Habbox is going rapidly down hill.

You need to get your head out of your own ass and get in the real world here, no way is Habbox going to succeed for very long if you are in charge making all these decisions.

Where is Sierk nowadays? He never seems to post... just shows how dedicated the staff are.

To be quite honest, your treating your user base as if they were 2 year old children needing constant attention, get real, 95% of us are teens or older.
