Speed.io gives chance for the speed to balance out to give a true speed whereas speedtest grabs the speed straight away Originally Posted by Nick.

Our exchange is touching our garden wall ! Also we have sexy wiring from the exchange to our house, cos we needed to get new wires fitted when a digger cut through it.
So we have fibre optic from the exchange to our house aswell

Well, our connection has been upgraded to 6MB... getting 4ish...
Getting 5ish on speedtest.
