Israel's Ground Forces Enter Gaza

The media is so biaased in favor of the Palestinians.
Just so all of you know, Israel wasn't snatched from the palestinians. Palestine was a land with no government and a minimal amount of people. Yes, I agree that Gaza and the Palestinian part of Jerusalem should not have been occupied by Israel.
Also, why isn't Hamas focusing on building bomb shelters for their people, rather then building bombs.

Alright, yes I'm new to this forum and specifically for this topic.

I must say I'm disgusted to see some of the responses here. For a great amount of time now, Israel has been 'abused' (you can take that term however you like) by everyone surrounding Israel. Mostly the palestinians. Imagine living in a country surrounded by enemies..

Israel has been getting bombed, or mistreated or however you want to call it, for a great amount of time now..and it's about damn time they fought back. Yes the land was given to Jews by the UN..get over it. Move on with your life, and stick with whats happening NOW. America did the same with the indians, and people seem to ignore that fact. Great Britain used to have an expansion over the entire world, but nobody complained unless it happened to your country. But no, you only feel that Israel doesn't deserve it's land because it was given to us by the UN? I've got some news for you guys, that land would have become Israel whether it would be by force or not. There would have been a much greater war if that hadn't happened. Not to mention that the land was ORIGINALLY for Jew's, yes because of the history.

Half of you don't even know the history. I can sit here and name each country/civilization that has ever attacked Israel/Jews. The amount of heartbreak Jews have faced throughout history is the disgusting crime. It's about time as I said before, that Israel does something. Israel has given countless warnings and peace treaty's, but they kept saying no. Why in gods name would you ever support someone who is anti-peace? Yes, I'm not proud when Israel bombed the school, but wake up to reality, that's war. Palestinians have done the same things more then once.

And yes America supports Israel..and yes it's a clear and valid reason to do what Israel is doing now. They've got the support of one of the strongest country's in the world.

To some responses I saw..Tecnologic: Israel overreacted? Imagine the jewish people being captures over 20 times, having to move to different countries every century. When a country was finally GIVEN to us, we make the nice gesture of giving GAZA BACK TO THEM. And what do they do? Exactly was terrorists do, torture for more. I'm sorry, compared to what we're doing now, is nothing to what they've done in the past.

They knew a school was right next to it, do they think or care? NOT ONE BIT, you just don't do it, US wouldn't dream doing that and if they accidently would atleast they'd send troops to go help them than focusing on trying to win something you won't ever win. US Supporting Israel has lost the US alot of support. These are the countrys that don't care, thank god now Israel have finally accepted a cease fire for 3 hours every day so aid and funerals can take place. About time they did something nice.

They know it wasn't an accident.. they aimed for it.. it had Hamas people in it.. Hamas are terrorists.. sometimes you have to sacrifice civilians to take care of the bad guys whether they be men, women, or children.

Why the **** would we send troops in, 'to help them', when we just blew them up?

When we blow things up, we mean for there to be no survivors.. we wouldn't send troops in to help people.. we'd send troops in to confirm that our mission was a success.

Of course we'd help the civilian casualties, if there were any, if they were alive.. but we wouldn't send in troops just for that reason.. what a waste of troops.

US Supporting Israel has lost the US alot of support.

Israel fired upon a UN convoy killing a UN aid worker, all aid to gaza has been suspended due to this.

I don't just watch Fox News, I watch a mix between CNN, NBC, and Fox News.. Fox News always appears to be the most reliable, and I feel that it responds very closely to my conservative beliefs.

Sorry, you're incorrect. They're not turning to hitlers. They are trying to defend their country. Hamas and Palestinians have been throwing bombs over for EIGHT YEARS! Enough is ENOUGH! Don't be a hypocrite, a Hamas shell hit Israel just last week.

Israel have had gaza under siege for years, restricting food, water, electricity, supplies etc. Hamas want palestinians to move freely between israel and gaza and they got pissed so they started firing. Israel are the evil doers in this one, they seem to think that it is alright to completely wipe out a country's freely elected government that only wants the best for its people. The death toll in israel is nothing compared to gaza. Israel (and most conservative americans) seem to think that the collateral is acceptable. They seem to think that it's fine to kill people that go to work, go to school, have families just like they do as long as they 'kill the bad guys.'
