What the heck? I'm on 6MB and I'm downloading two files... ones downloading at 530KB/s, the other at 400KB/s... that's 930KB/s which is 9MB isn't it?

There are Kilo Bytes and kilo bits I think, speed test shows kb and your d/l speed is KB.

No, for each meg is around 100kb/s on a download. So and 8 meg speed would be around 750-800KB/s download. Easy mistake to make.
    That went fast.

yeah, kb and KB mean the same to me. here we go again with the whole capitals doesn't make a difference, guess it does here lmao :8.

i get around 300-500kb/s max on rapidshare downloads and im on 8meg and get around 6meg so i'm not too fussed, it seems right for me..

i always thought that kb/s on download mean the same as d/l speed on speedtest and that lol
so when i was downloading and seen it be 300kb/s i thought i was getting sucky download speeds because my speedtest said 6000KB/s lmao
