HxHD closed - turned into a lounge

Well... they really need to get it right first time or it'll instantly get a bad reputation and like HxHD for the last few years will always be the runt of the departments..

even though I hate the idea of the lounge I'd like to wish all of the staff good luck with it

It's like they've half changed it. Scrapped HxHD yet kept same room owner, same management structure and same staff all of which were the main reasons that HxHD failed in the first place, it just doesn't make sense.

Well it's sort of a chance for the management of HxHD to proove that HxHD was quiet because Help desks have become less popular like it has been claimed and it was not because they were bad at being manager...

I think it was fair to give Jay and Leah a chance to carry on as managers or w.e I hope they manage to pull it off.. but at the same time I can kinda see where you're coming from it's like the staff of Woolworths opening up a new store and trying again

Fair play to them for acknowledging the problem but I don't see how exactly anything is going to change now, it's not getting to the root of the problem, taking short cuts don't work.

It wasn't announced perfectly and some details are missing. However the details have been hammered out so just sit tight and trust us, we've thought of as much as we could, we're going to release it as we had planned to and make changes as we go.

I agree and the sad thing is I think it can work. I'm not a big fan of the way this has been approached "lets see what happens" I'd rather they made wholesome changes now. Told staff they were surplus to requirements and just kept the super staff or something. As well as the "manager" owning the room. They need 8 staff max most of the staff don't even attend the desk anyway - well certainly not enough.

You're probably right, Hayley.

When this was announced everyone was saying why HxHD would even need staff anymore.

A lot of people do come in to the help desk because they see it's called HxHD as they know it's Habbox and that's something they're familiar with. Many staff members don't help habbos who come in for help when it's HxHD now. When the help section is entirely removed nobody is going to be helped. This is a downgrade.
