Prefix is like the [CSS] or [Big Brother] stuff so it'd be like [Win 7] or something.

This certainly is a trend that will die down. Plus the first page of threads dates back to December 24th. That's about two and a half weeks. I think you'll be fine

Soem other prefix's are hardly used during some times? like strictly come dancing is only on a set time during the year? big bro etc same..
It's hardly alot of work to add the extra prefix and also helps users understand when someone posts whether its about W7/Vista/Xp etc.
