    Default Staying focussed on training program

    Hey!

    right well if you don't know already i love running and compete at county level regularly and next year hopefully national level!

    but i need to be able to stay focussed and stick to an increasing training program especially now after christmas!

    so anyway i was wondering if theres any tips i can use to stay focussed also i was wondering if there was any websites or anything that i can print out a professional chart from which i can fill in my progress etc?..

    so any tips and that will be +repped! thanx! xx

    I am no expert in training but im sure if you just keep on thinking about how good you could be well then this might keep you more focused

    also

    The best thing to do would be to get a friend to regularly train with you. I know a few cross-country runners and marathon runners and none of them train alone because they know they have less chance of slacking if they have a friend with them.

    Yeah good idea, I find doing anything with friends can help alot because it makes you think that your just hanging out with your friends rather than doing training.

    If you have a friend with you, you will probably want to impress them to try your absolute hardest every time you train.
    If you think to yourself, the harder I train, the better I'll be then you will find yourself trying harder to become better!
